None Purpose:

Generate newbusiness. Build customer relationships by traveling to customerlocations, parts and service sales, perform follow-up activities oncomplete goods, address customer concerns, promote aftermarketsales, furnish technical support where applicable and collectprofiling information in order to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities:

Runs a routine parts delivery route to customersproviding value and support to customers Sells and Markets partsand service sales such as extended warranties, parts stockingplans, maintenance plans, machine inspections, overhauls, standardjob quotes, and special monthly parts promotions working with partsand service managers Performs follow-up calls at customer locationson complete goods and major parts and service Addresses customerconcerns and resolves problems effectively and satisfactorilyProfiles customer’s and his machines creating fleet lists to storein business system and demographic information Participates inproduct presentations at customer clinics, pre-Expo Meetings, JohnDeere Days and meetings held outside the dealership Provideslimited technical support where applicable or requested bymanagement

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

2 years’experience in an agricultural or turf related role with involvementin activities such as sales, service, training or other relatedwork Excellent customer relationship skills Ability to write andspeak effectively to individuals and groups Ability to use standarddesktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internetfunctions Parts Educate – Required to have 20 credits per year ofJohn Deere training as well as training requested by their PartsManager High School Diploma or equivalent experience
