Delivery Driver J & M Delivery Inc. 3349 Simmons Dr, Waycross, GA 31503 Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and have experience with commercial driving. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage. Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts for efficient loading and unloading. Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for tracking purposes. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred. Experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is a plus. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) safely and efficiently. Experience using pallet jacks, forklifts, or similar equipment is advantageous. Previous experience in delivery driving or courier services is preferred but not mandatory. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
