Route Sales Delivery Driver- Looking for highly motivated individuals! Flower Link Kenner, LA Summary of Job Route sales of Fresh cut flowers to flower shops in Louisiana within a 100 miles radius of Kenner, LA, driving a 20ft box reefer truck.

Responsibilities:

Setup truck for daily sales in accordance to the need of each set route. Complete a set daily route. (8-14 flower shops) Invoice and collect from customers upon delivery. Comply with DOT rules and guidelines of driving. Turn in future orders to warehouse manager. Carry a professional and clean appearance.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:

Have a minimum of 2 years in sales experience. Must be able to drive a 20ft box truck GVW 19500lbs, only class D license is required. Knowledge of fresh cut flowers. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to add, substract and multiply in whole and decimal numbers. Be able to start as early as 6am and finish as late as 6pm, Monday thru Friday. Weekly average 45hrs. Have a clean driving record. Pass a drug test. Clean criminal record.

Compensation:

Is based on commission with a minimum pay of $800/ week. Average pay after 1 year $1200/week. If you don’t mind putting in the hours for a much higher pay, this is your kind of job.

Experience:

Experience in sales is required. Must be personable and reliable.

Training:

There is a one week training period. •Must have basic knowledge of fresh cut flowers to start training period. Identify the mos common flowers like: alstro, carnation, gypso, lilies, poms, roses, snaps…
