FedEx Delivery Driver Palhi Enterprise Inc West Monroe, LA 71291 Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks. If you have experience with commercial driving and are comfortable operating different types of vehicles, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and other commercial vehicles. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling of items during transport. Utilize manual transmission vehicles when necessary. Use pallet jacks and forklifts to assist in moving heavy items. Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently to meet customer expectations. Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients during deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining signatures. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required. Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Experience using pallet jacks and forklifts is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Previous experience as a courier or in a similar delivery role is desirable. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
