Role:

South Shore Laundry is seeking a reliable and compassionate Pickup & Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting laundry to and from clients’ homes, many of whom are elderly, disabled, or part of a vulnerable population. We pride ourselves on providing respectful, timely, and attentive service to every client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver laundry to client residences and facilities
• Handle laundry bags with care and accuracy
• Maintain professional and courteous interactions with clients
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team regarding routes and client needs
• Keep accurate records of pickups and deliveries
• Ensure cleanliness and care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be detail-oriented and dependable
• Must be patient and professional when working with elderly and vulnerable clients
• Must be available to work weekdays and weekends
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must speak, read, and write English fluently
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must provide a driving record (available from the RMV) upon application
• Must have a clean background check
• Prior experience with delivery, courier, or service-based driving preferred

Compensation:

• $20 per hour starting
• Paid training
