The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to navigate efficiently through assigned routes. Responsibilities Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and safety protocols. Load and unload goods carefully to prevent damage during transit. Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries to customers. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients upon delivery. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during the route. Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly. Assist in moving items as needed, ensuring that all deliveries are completed efficiently. Skills Proficient in driving various types of vehicles, including commercial driving experience preferred. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Strong route driving skills with the ability to navigate using maps or GPS systems effectively. Previous experience as a courier or delivery driver is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading goods. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing delivery schedules and documentation.
