We are currently serving the medical and recreational cannabis community in the Pawtucket and greater Providence areas. Mother Earth Wellness brings extensive customer service knowledge, restaurant ownership, design capabilities, construction experience, and deeply rooted cannabis knowledge to the market. We are seeking a fully qualified and experienced Security Specialist/Delivery Driver to join our team during this exciting time in our journey. Veteran participation strongly advised, please include most current DD214 or Discharge certificate.

Job Description:

The security team is responsible for ensuring that all safety and security protocols are adhered to. Candidates must have an outgoing demeanor as they will be the first point of contact for customers entering the store, as well as a visible presence in the community. Candidates will need to be able to work independently and communicate effectively. This position will be responsible for following all protocols and procedures relative to the protection of property and personnel, as outlined in Rhode Island regulations. Candidates will also be required to driver delivery routes in a company vehicle as part of a two person team.

Responsibilities:

Knowledge of guest intake and ID verification procedures and protocols Demonstrated ability to interact with the public to facilitate problem-solving of stressful situations with calm and open judgment Knowledge of safety, health and security protocols Ability to identify potential problems, analyzes issues, and propose solutions Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the compassion center’s guests Professionally manage any situation within the store that is deemed by management as requiring security interdiction Immediately contact local law enforcement or other emergency services when required by management or situation requires immediate action. Monitor traffic flow Assist is cash handling or cash transportation as necessary Computer capable Other ad hoc responsibilities as required due to business needs Must be able to work for long hours, working on your feet, lifting up to 50 pounds, with minimal supervision. Candidates should be motivated and hardworking, attendance is critical. Reliable transportation is a must. Must be a team player.
