The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate routes efficiently. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through prompt service and careful handling of packages. Duties Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items from the vehicle using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks. Follow assigned routes for deliveries, ensuring timely arrival at each destination. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery status. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transit. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred. Experience in route driving or courier services is a plus. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is advantageous. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is beneficial. Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
