Boat Captain Aquarius Boat Rental and Tours Miami Miami Beach, FL Please carefully read the description Aquarius Boat Rental and Tours is looking for a reliable licensed Boat Captain starting ASAP to captain its boats Monterey M205 OB (20-ft) , and its 3 SeaRay 270SDX OB (27-footers). Trips around Miami’s Biscayne Bay intracoastal from a commercial slip located in Miami Beach.
Duties:
Welcome guests Occasionally take payments and have them sign the paperwork Deliver a 5-star service to our clientele Cruise around the bay, entertain the guests and provide local insights Maintain the boats in their best condition Clean the boat after each trip Make sure the boats meet all coast guard requirements Maintain good relationships with marina workers, coast guards and competition Check the boats upon return and report any issues to the manager Sell upgrades Move the boats between different slips Take Instagram worthy pictures Fuel the boat as needed Captain must be available to work on weekends and holidays and be flexible during the week. 1 or 2 days off a week. Part-time that could lead to full-time – paid by the hour.
Profile:
Please send your application if: You have a valid USGC Captain’s license (Six Pack minimum) Experience navigating on Biscayne Bay You have experience in driving smaller boats You care about safety, reliable with a great sense of honesty You have experience working in guest services/ customer relations/ hospitality/ entertainment industry You’re respectful of marine life You need to be able to work in a fast pace environment – back to back charters You know how to maintain and clean boats You have great communication skills Your schedule is flexible You like taking pictures You are willing to enroll in a Drug and Alcohol Consortium You live within a reasonable driving distance of Miami Beach. English is mandatory, a second language would be a plus. Commissions on sales and upgrades + tips.
