We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard & Shop Attendant to support day-to-day operations at our shop. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. The Yard & Shop Attendant will be based at our main shop location in Ellington and will assist with a variety of tasks, including accepting and organizing deliveries, groundskeeping, supporting our shop mechanic, and ensuring the overall upkeep and efficiency of the yard and shop areas.

Responsibilities:

Monitor materials and yard inventory Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and shop Assist with loading and unloading materials into company vehicles Groundskeeping (lawn mowing, gardening, etc.) Pick up orders of materials, truck parts, etc. and deliver to job sites or shop as needed Operate equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, bulldozers, mini excavators Assist shop mechanics with vehicle maintenance as needed Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Must have a clean driving record and valid license Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions Strong attention to detail and safety protocols Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team Hardworking and willing to work on new skills, tasks, etc.

Full-time Pay:

$18.00 – $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
