⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Environmentalist Box Truck Driver (non CDL) (Somerville) Earthworm Inc 65 Inner Belt Rd.  compensation: Starting pay $25/hour employment type: job title: Environmentalist Box Truck Driver (non CDL) Earthworm Inc. is a small, friendly recycling non-profit organization located in Somerville, MA. We collect electronics, paper, cardboard, and bottles & cans from businesses all over Greater Boston. We are seeking someone who has truck driving experience and is comfortable driving a 22′ box truck on our Boston routes. The position is 35 hrs/week (Mon-Thurs, with a shorter day on Fri). No weekends or nights. Willing to consider applicants looking for fewer than 35 hrs/week. The main task would be working on our local trucking routes as both a solo driver and as part of a team of two. The ability to perform strenuous physical activity as well as be organized and complete paperwork is required. This is a great opportunity to develop multiple skills, have fun and make a difference.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience driving a truck
• Driver’s license with proof of clean driving record
• Ability to do physical work i.e. lift 50 lbs, walk, stand, climb in and out of truck
• Friendly demeanor and ability to work well with customers and coworkers
• Interest in helping the environment

Helpful Skills:

• Knowledge of the Boston area
• Basic computer skills
