Drivers to join our Farm Team in Deblois, ME. The ideal candidates will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods across various routes. This role requires operating different types of trucks, including but not limited to tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and dump trucks. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and dump trucks. Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption. Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transport. Ensure that all cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated (Standard) Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of commercial driving practices. Familiarity with various types of trailers including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, and dump truck is preferred. Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading cargo. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Schedules are typically 7:30am-4:00pm during the regular season. Hours during our annual Wild Blueberry Harvest (July through September) are generally 12 hours / day, 7 days / week.
