REPORTS TO
Warehouse Supervisor
Position Summary
Responsible for the timely, accurate, and safe transportation of trailers full of supplies and materials in a manner consistent with all delivery specifications. Utilizes truck and lift requirements to move products and materials, as needed.
Essential Functions
Drives tractor -trailerbination, applying knowledge ofmercial driving regulations, to transport and deliver products or materials.
Performs all essential driving functions to be able to safely transport goods, such as maneuvering truck into loading and unloading position, including tight spots.
Performs all daily safety inspections of truck prior to operation. Conducts inspection following each trip and reports all quality and safety issues to management.
Uses bill of lading to determine assignment/designation.
Performs all activities required to secure load for transport (e.g., fastening chains or binders to secure load).
Monitors and performs routine service on truck (oil, fuel, radiator).
Obtains required signatures documenting delivery of goods.
Provides guidance and direction to helpers to properly load the trailer.
Complies with all applicable federal, state, and local driving regulations including proper observance of speed limits, weigh station requirements, etc.
Mustply with all CDL requirements, including all testing and certification requirements.
Mustply with all applicable OSHA regulations.
Maintains high levels of housekeeping and sanitation in and around work areas andplies with all GMP requirements.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications (Education/Experience)
Must have current valid CDL license
Must have 2 plus years ofmercial driving experience.

Exposure to noise levels requiring hearing protection.
FLSA Designation:
This position is Hourly Non-Exempt and is eligible for overtime.
