Deliver Driver 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Jamestown, NY 14701 Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for our Jamestown, NY client. Our client is looking for a Delivery Driver. This position would be for local driving. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Hours are M-F 7 am to 330 with some possible overtime. Must have a valid Driver License. Pay is $16.50/hr to start. Summary As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations. This role requires a valid driver’s license and core skills in driving and heavy lifting. Your premium skills in customer service and commercial driving will enhance the delivery experience for our clients. Additionally, relevant skills such as warehouse experience and load/unload capabilities will support our operational needs. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure compliance with traffic regulations. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver with a valid driver’s license Strong skills in heavy lifting and manual handling Excellent customer service abilities Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics Experience with commercial driving, including box trucks and vans Ability to load and unload goods efficiently Knowledge of local driving routes and regulations
