Role:
The Class A CDLTanker Driver is a critical position responsible for the safe andefficient transportation of liquid cargo to various destinations.
This role requires adherence to all safety regulations and companypolicies while ensuring timely deliveries. The driver will beexpected to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintainvehicle safety and compliance. Additionally, the position involvesmaintaining accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
Ultimately, the success of this role contributes to the overalloperational efficiency and customer satisfaction of our logisticsservices. This position is a safety-sensitive position and requiresa clear mind and diligence. The employee has the responsibility forhis/her safety as well as the safety of others.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with tankerendorsement.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience with aclean driving record.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drugscreening. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliveryequipment ranges from 30-45′ open-top dump trailers (combinationvehicles) across a regional footprint determined by management.
- Operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles by DOTrequirements as well as all local, state, and federal laws.
- Perform pre-and post-trip inspections.
- Typical use of hand toolsfor basic repairs of company bins and equipment.
- Maintenance ofbasic truck equipment and overall cleanliness of equipment.
- Utilize electronic logging system for DOT driver logs and asotherwise required.
- Maintain paperwork (contamination and servicetickets, truck maintenance, etc.) and submit all documentation tothe appropriate party.
- Regularly communicate with customers andvendors to ensure seamless operations.
- Communicate with thecorporate office/operations team regularly for all service,equipment, and customer service-related issues.
- Report allaccidents and injuries immediately to the safety manager.
- Abilityto work flexible hours based on seasonality, up to 60 hours in a7-day week or 70 hours in 8 days.
- Attend and participate inweekly safety calls, trainings, or briefings.
- Basic usage ofcomputer and cell phone for training, communication, and expensemanagement
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Valid Class CDL-A instate of residence with a TANKER endorsement
- Roll Off or Triaxle.
End dump experience is a plus in some areas.
- Time Management andability to maintain route consistency.
- Communication and customerservice skills
- Proficiency in operating Manual and AutomaticTransmission vehicles
- Experience using an Electronic LoggingSystem
- Knowledge of hydraulics is a plus.
- Basic computer andcell phone knowledge
- All drivers must be able to read and speakthe English language sufficiently to converse with the public,understand highway traffic signs and signals in the Englishlanguage, respond to official inquiries, and make entries onreports and records.
- Age 21 and over.
- Must have a current DOTmedical card.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Mustpass the road test.
- Live in a defined hiring area and be willingto park at the approved parking area.
- No DUI or DWI conviction ina commercial motor vehicle or personal vehicle in the last three(3) years.
- No DOT Drug Alcohol Violation within the past 3 years.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly lifting, pulling, and/or pushingup to 70 pounds, bending, stooping, twisting, shoveling, orreaching overhead.
- Ability to manage unpleasant odors from foodwaste/farms.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
