CDL Driver- A Lic/ Equipt Operator (Rail) Position Available In Rensselaer, New York

Job Description:

Clean Harbors in Albany NY is seeking a Class A CDL Driver/Equip Operator (Rail) to operate a variety of heavy and light dutytrucks/work equipment at our customer sites; some of the vehiclesoperated include vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs.

This role is responsible for performing driving and non-drivingduties on and off customer sites associated with hazardous wasteclean-up. Key Responsibilities:

Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complyingwith all safe work practices, policies, and processes and alwaysacting in a safe manner Operate commercial trucks and assist fieldlaborers when needed (team atmosphere where everyone helps) Operatea variety of Class A trucks Loading and unloading of trucks Manuallabor on site to ensure fulfillment of customer needs Properplacarding of vehicles to meet Company and DOTrequirements/regulations Maintain daily logs, time sheets, andvarious reports Follow all local, state (provincial) and federalcompliance regulations and rules Safely operate vehicles inaccordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federalrequirements Safely observe all corporate operating guidelines andprocedures Observe all company environmental health and safetyoperating guidelines Performs other duties as assigned By position,ability to be on call for emergency response on rotating basisevery other week By position, site-remediation, equipmentdecontamination, and the handling of hazardous materials

RequiredQualifications:

Valid Class A CDL Ability to obtain Hazmat andTanker endorsement within 90 days of employment Ability to usevarious mobile devices Perform physical functions per jobrequirements Successfully complete a background check, drug test,and physical, by position Per OSHA’s Respiratory ProtectionStandard, 29 CFR 1910.34, employees in positions requiringrespirators are required to meet facial hair standards.
