The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service while transporting goods to designated locations. Responsibilities Operate trucks safely and efficiently, including tractor-trailers and dump trucks. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo delivered. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules. Manage the delivery process from start to finish, ensuring timely arrival at destinations. Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for vehicle type. Proven experience in truck driving, specifically with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, or tankers. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Ability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently. Strong understanding of delivery driver responsibilities and best practices. Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to maintaining safety standards at all times.
