Overview Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Warehouse Worker / Delivery Driver to join our team. This dual-purpose role is critical to our operations, involving both efficient warehouse duties, including the loading and preparation of trailers for disposal, and the timely and safe delivery and dumping of materials at landfills. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player, possess excellent organizational skills, and have a commitment to safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities:

o Transport loaded trailers to designated landfill or disposal sites in a timely and safe manner. o Perform the dumping of trailers at the landfill, adhering to all site-specific rules, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.

Warehouse Operations:

o Receive, store, and organize incoming and outgoing materials within the warehouse or yard according to company procedures. o Prepare materials for staging, transport, or processing. o Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse/yard environment, including proper waste segregation and disposal practices. o Operate warehouse and heavy equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack, hand trucks, potentially excavators/skid steers if applicable) safely and proficiently, performing daily checks as required. o Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records of materials.

Product/Material Delivery:

o Transport products/materials to various job sites and customer locations in a timely and professional manner. o Unload products/materials at delivery sites, often requiring physical effort and coordination with site personnel.

General Duties:

o Collaborate effectively with warehouse, operations, and administrative teams. o Provide excellent customer service during deliveries or interactions with external parties. o Troubleshoot minor issues and communicate effectively with supervisors. o Other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse and disposal operations.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• [e.g., 1-2 years] of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or waste management environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects (up to 75-100 pounds consistently).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in loading and record-keeping.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, and climb for extended periods.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions, including outdoor environments at landfills.
• Manual dexterity and coordination for operating equipment and handling products.
• Comfortable working around heavy machinery and in industrial environments.
