Lot Attendant/Detailer Wally’s Car Wash / Wally’s Nissan 661 Airport Road, Hazle Township, PA 18202 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lot Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dealership lot by managing vehicle inventory, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. This position requires strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members. Responsibilities Manage the organization of vehicles on the lot, ensuring they are parked in designated areas. Assist customers with locating vehicles and provide information about features and specifications. Drive vehicles for test drives, deliveries, or repositioning as needed, including manual transmission vehicles. Maintain cleanliness of the lot, including washing and detailing vehicles as necessary. Support sales staff by preparing vehicles for display and ensuring they are presentable. Operate cash registers for any transactions related to vehicle sales or services. Communicate effectively with customers to enhance their experience and address any inquiries. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the dealership. Requirements Previous experience in a dealership or automotive environment is preferred but not required. Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including manual transmission models. Strong customer service skills with a focus on communication and engagement. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele. Familiarity with retail math is beneficial for handling transactions accurately. Experience in valet parking or as a delivery driver is advantageous. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary. A valid driver’s license is required.
