Presenter Ken DeCerchio, MSW, CAP About our Presenter Ken DeCerchio, MSW, CAP currently serves as the program director of the In-Depth Technical Assistance Program of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) National Center on Substance Abuse and Child Welfare, and the Deputy Project Director of the National Quality Improvement Center for Collaborative Community Court Teams, funded by the Children’s Bureau in the Administration on Children, Youth and Families. Prior to joining the Center for Children and Family Futures in July 2007, Mr.DeCerchio served as the Assistant Secretary for Substance Abuse and Mental Health for the Florida Department of Children and Families from 2005 to 2007, and as the State Substance Abuse Director from 1995-2005. In 2001, Governor Jeb Bush appointed Mr. DeCerchio as Deputy Director for Treatment for the Florida Office of Drug Control. Mr. DeCerchio served on SAMHSA’s Center for Substance Abuse Treatment National Advisory Council from 2004-2008. In June 2005, Mr. DeCerchio received the National Association of State Alcohol and Drug Abuse Director´s Service Award for his leadership and support in the substance abuse prevention and treatment field.
