Job Description

TITLE:
HR Administrator
POSITION OBJECTIVE
Ensures positive employee relations by proactive employee communication, prompt issue resolution and fair & equitable treatment. Serves as internal resource for employees
QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate or equivalent Good oral and written communication skills A minimum of 1-year previous experience in an HR support role. Experience with Motor Carrier driver compliance Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations Knowledge of HOS regulations Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures positive employee relations. Serves as internal resource for employee inquiries. Direct employees as necessary to the appropriate resource; such as Employee Shared Service Center and/or Benefits Center. Perform daily audit of hourly employee time and attendance records Lead safety meetings and oversee policies and procedures Driver orientation and ongoing training Maintain driver qualifications file Support local recruitment activities.
