What You'll Be Doing Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair quarry plant equipment to support safe and efficient production Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on crushers, conveyors, screens, and related systems Read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and work orders to complete repairs accurately Partner with operations to prioritize maintenance activities and reduce downtime Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in compliance with safety and housekeeping standards What Are We Looking For Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment Capability to work safely on quarry plant machinery and material processing systems Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and procedural compliance Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with operations teams Physical ability to perform hands-on mechanical work in an industrial environment Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level What We Offer $26.79 per hour Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled Shaping the future, building successes Heidelberg Materials - your springboard into the future of the construction materials industry.
