100 Ton Fishing Captain

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Captain holding a 100 Ton license to join our fishing vessel operations with enthusiasm and expertise. As the Captain, you will be responsible for navigating, managing crew, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of all fishing activities. Your leadership will drive the success of our fishing expeditions, leveraging your management skills, mechanical knowledge, and maritime experience to deliver outstanding results. Duties Safely operate and navigate the vessel during fishing trips, ensuring compliance with all maritime regulations and safety standards Lead and manage crew members, fostering teamwork and maintaining high morale onboard Oversee rigging operations, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and functioning efficiently Conduct routine mechanical inspections and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime during voyages Implement safety protocols, conduct drills, and respond swiftly to emergencies to protect crew and vessel Coordinate with support teams for supplies, maintenance, and logistical planning for each expedition Maintain detailed logs of vessel activities, fishing data, safety checks, and incident reports Experience Proven maritime experience with a valid 100 Ton captain's license or equivalent certification Strong management skills with experience leading a crew in challenging environments Background in rigging operations and mechanical systems on fishing vessels or similar maritime equipment Familiarity with military discipline or experience is highly desirable for maintaining operational excellence under pressure Knowledge of mechanical systems, troubleshooting techniques, and routine maintenance procedures on boats Prior experience in commercial fishing or related industries is preferred but not mandatory Join us to lead exciting fishing expeditions where your expertise fuels our success! 65ft Custom 65ft A-1 85ft Arrow Custom Head boat fishing, 4-6hr charters
