Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 12 Volt Technician & Emergency Vehicle Upfitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining 12-volt electrical systems and Emergency Vehicle Equipment such prisoner partition, vehicle lights, sirens, push bumpers etc as a variety of vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical components function seamlessly, contributing to the safety and performance of our clients vehicles. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced electrical systems and cutting-edge vehicle technology in a fast-paced environment. Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will be vital in delivering top-quality service and solutions. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair 12-volt electrical systems in vehicles, including lighting, sirens, push bumpers, camera systems, and other electronic accessories Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to perform precise installations and repairs Conduct vehicle maintenance checks to ensure electrical components are functioning correctly and safely Utilize an ohmmeter to test electrical circuits, diagnose faults, and verify system integrity Follow detailed technical procedures and safety protocols during all installation and repair tasks Document all work performed accurately in service records and reports Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and maintain high-quality standards Experience Proven experience working with vehicle electrical systems or as a 12 Volt Technician is preferred Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle components and electrical wiring diagrams Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures and electrical troubleshooting techniques Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams effectively Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail Prior experience working on various vehicle makes and models is a plus Join us if you're passionate about automotive electrical systems, eager to develop your skills further, and ready to contribute to a team dedicated to excellence!
