Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting high school students by working as a School Psychologist in a dynamic educational environment. This position focuses on 10th through 12th-grade students and welcomes professionals who possess excellent assessment, counseling, and collaboration skills. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in fostering both academic and social-emotional growth. You'll work alongside dedicated educators and serve as a vital support system, ensuring students have access to the guidance and resources they need to thrive throughout the remainder of the school year.
Qualifications:
Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychology endorsement Previous experience as a School Psychologist within Illinois schools is highly desirable Comfortable managing a caseload of high school students (grades 10-12) Strong interpersonal and assessment skills Ability to provide counseling as needed Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a valuable asset
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations, assessments, and behavioral interventions Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop student support plans Deliver direct counseling services and crisis intervention to students when necessary Facilitate the creation and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to a positive, inclusive school climate
