1st Shift - General Laborer

Job Title:

1st Shift General Laborer Job Description This role supports production operations gaining exposure to multiple departments and a variety of job duties in a large, fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Package parts according to written specifications and quality standards. Rotate between three different production areas and adapt to varying tasks and workflows. Perform basic visual quality inspections of metal parts to identify defects or irregularities. Operate general production and assembly equipment as directed, including basic machine operation and deburring equipment. Load, unload, and pack finished parts for shipment or further processing. Use a computer to enter numbers and basic production or inspection data accurately. Essential Skills Manufacturing or general production experience. Experience with loading and unloading parts in a production or warehouse environment. Basic assembly, production, and general labor experience. Ability to work in hot areas near furnaces and in a loud, dirty environment. Basic computer skills to enter numbers and simple production data. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in assembly or quality checks of metal parts. Previous machine operation experience in a manufacturing setting. Comfort working across multiple departments and learning new tasks. Willingness to participate in structured training and step programs to learn new departments. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
