Aug 31, 2026 Job Description The Lincoln After School Music Program is seeking a skilled and versatile Flute Instructor to join our team, ideally starting on or after August 31, 2026. The ideal candidate is comfortable teaching students across a range of skill levels, from beginners to those with intermediate experience. This position may be asked to work with students interested in Piano lessons (one positon). Hourly Rate $66.00 per hour Lincoln and Hanscom After School Music Program 30 minute lesson: $33.00 45 minute lesson: $49.50 60 minute lesson: $66.00 Lessons are scheduled by the LASMP Director following the annual registration period and offered on a trimester schedule. Position Description & Responsibilities Teach private Flute (and possibly Piano) lessons covering fundamental skills (note reading, rhythm, technique) and advancing through intermediate repertoire and theory. Lessons will take place after school on the Lincoln and Hanscom campuses. Develop engaging, level-appropriate lesson plans tailored to student goals. Communicate effectively and professionally with families regarding student progress and scheduling. Adjust teaching approach to match the learning style and pace of each individual student. $66 per hour. Will work with Lincoln After-school Music Program Director to schedule lessons Qualifications Demonstrated experience teaching Flute (and Piano) to students of various levels (beginner through intermediate). Ability to teach a variety of musical styles. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Must be reliable and able to commit to the after-school schedule.
