2026 Summer School Programs - Summer High School: Physical Education/Health Teacher

Job Goal :

Somerville High is continuing a summer program for students to recover credit. The summer program will provide a positive and cooperative learning environment which will address student academic needs as well as their social emotional needs addressed in their IEPs.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with middle and/or high school curriculum, instruction and assessment practices Massachusetts License in subject specific area A strong ability to work with students of varying levels Ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment for students Strong organizational and effective communication skills

Mandatory Orientation and Professional Development Days:

Week of June 13, 2026

Program Schedule:
