Job Description

Join Our Team as a Certified Surgical Technologist - Travel Opportunity! Are you a skilled Surgical Technologist looking to expand your horizons and make a meaningful impact in diverse surgical settings? We are seeking a dedicated, certified professional to join our team on a travel basis, providing critical support across a variety of specialties. This is your chance to combine your expertise with exciting travel assignments while working in a dynamic hospital environment that values your skills and commitment.
What You Will Do:
As a Traveling Surgical Technologist, you will assist in preparing operating rooms, maintaining sterile techniques, and supporting surgical teams in performing a range of complex procedures. Your technical proficiency and compassionate patient care will ensure smooth operations and the highest standards of safety and quality. You will work across multiple service lines, including GI, general surgery, urology, gynecology, vascular, orthopedics, neuro, robotics, reconstructive plastics, podiatry, and more - broadening your clinical experience and expertise.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certified Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN License with registered certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of surgical technology experience preferred.
  • Proficient in scrubbing for multiple specialties, including but not limited to: Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Neuro, Robotics, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical environment management.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to different surgical settings.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA is required.
  • Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system is highly preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and professionalism.
Nice to
Have Skills:
  • Previous experience with complex surgeries and advanced equipment such as
XI, DV5, ION
robotics systems.
  • Experience in pediatric cases, though minimal, is a plus.
  • Knowledge of sterilization, decontamination, and instrument processing procedures.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or LVN/LPN program.
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
Other Requirements:
  • Valid certification and licensure as required.
  • Willingness to travel to various assignment locations starting June 8, 2026.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including mornings, afternoons, or evenings, across a 5-day workweek.
  • Complete all onboarding requirements promptly and adhere to facility policies.
