This Classroom Paraeducator II position with the Trinity County Office of Education supports students with special needs by assisting teachers with classroom instruction, behavior support, social-emotional development, and daily student care. Paraeducators work closely with students one-on-one and in small groups to help them succeed academically and build independence. Depending on assignment, duties may include supporting students with mobility needs, personal care, feeding assistance, communication, and behavior management. Candidates should be patient, dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a collaborative special education environment serving students with diverse learning and support needs.
