2026-2027 School Year ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified Educational Diagnostician to provide comprehensive evaluation services for the upcoming school year in Taylor, TX. This is a full-time contract position supporting a student population across all levels, with a primary emphasis on secondary education.
Position Overview Start Date:
August 2026
End Date:
May 2027
Hours:
37.5 Hours per week
Schedule:
Monday - Friday (5 days/week)
Caseload:
[Insert Caseload Number] students (mostly secondary) Key Responsibilities Conduct Full Individual and Initial Evaluations (FIIE) to determine special education eligibility. Expertly interpret assessment data to guide instructional planning for secondary students. Serve as a key member of ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) committees, presenting findings to parents and staff. Ensure all evaluations and documentation remain compliant with Texas Education Agency (TEA) standards and federal IDEA regulations. Collaborate with campus administrators and the special education department to monitor student progress. Qualifications Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field. Valid Texas State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) as an Educational Diagnostician. Strong familiarity with Texas-specific special education law and ARD processes. Ability to manage a diverse caseload with professional organization and timely reporting.
