The 125,000+ square-foot cold storage operation featuring freezer, cooler, and cold-dock space is designed to support high-volume food and perishable goods distribution. Overview We are seeking motivated individuals with recent experience to join our team as 2nd Shift Forklift Operators. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, operating heavy equipment safely, and supporting warehouse distribution operations during the evening shift. Schedule consist of Monday - Friday, 3:30 p.m. to Midnight . Your expertise will help ensure smooth shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes. Responsibilities Operate various types of forklifts including reach trucks within our cold storage warehouse Conduct routine inspections and basic repairs on forklifts and heavy equipment to maintain safety and operational readiness Assist with shipping and receiving functions by verifying inbound and outbound shipments and ensuring proper documentation Support warehouse management by maintaining organized storage areas, conducting inventory counts, and adhering to OSHA safety standards Handle materials handling tasks such as heavy lifting, stacking pallets, and load securing to optimize space utilization Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to improve workflow efficiency and uphold safety protocols Qualifications Proven experience operating forklifts including reach trucks Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and load measurements Warehouse experience with shipping & receiving processes and order fulfillment procedures Join us as a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator to play a vital role in our fast-paced warehouse operations.
