Job Description

A West Point, MS industrial manufacturing facility is currently in search of a 2nd Shift Lead Person and Quality Control Technician. Hours will be Mon-Fri, 2pm-1am, with some overtime expected. The pay range for this position starts at $22 an hour.
Duties include:
  • Lead and mentor team members
  • Communicate job expectations to your team
  • Report all progress—production, shipping, and material—as well as any delays
  • Enhance safe operations
  • Must understand the process flow from sales, order entry, CAD, to shop processing
  • Verify all orders and materials are in place to complete your shift then set up for the next shift
  • Verify the quantity and quality of shift production
  • Verify finished goods put away accuracy
  • Keep work areas clean and orderly
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Other duties as assigned.
