Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
Identify the root cause of equipment malfunctions through observation, testing, and diagnostic procedures.

Perform regular maintenance on machinery and equipment according to schedules or instructions. This may include cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts to prevent wear and tears.

Repair or replace defective machine parts, components, or systems. This may involve using hand and power tools, specialized equipment, and potentially fabricating parts.

Use various tools and equipment for maintenance and repair tasks, such as power tools, and other machinery. Fix or replace faulty electrical components, repair plumbing fixtures, patch walls, and address minor carpentry issues. Document completed work, tracking inventory, and maintaining records of maintenance activities. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and procedures. This includes maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Assist in maintaining the inventory of spare parts and supplies.

Work with other team members, supervisors, and sometimes clients to address maintenance needs and ensure smooth operations. Provide guidance and training to other personnel on basic maintenance procedures. Removing snow and ice from walkways. QualificationsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent; Technical school a plus.2 + years' experience working as a maintenance technician.

Strong mechanical, electrical, and potentially hydraulic or pneumatic knowledge. Experience with various hand and power tools.

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment issues.

Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in various physical positions.

Ability to follow procedures, maintain accurate records, and ensure work is completed to a high standard.

Ability to communicate effectively with other team members, supervisors, and potentially vendors.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team to accomplish maintenance goals.

Understanding of relevant safety regulations and procedures. Ability to

 Adhering to safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions. 
Basic Computer Skills:
 For record-keeping and communication purposes.
Physical Requirements:
 Ability to lift, push, pull and bend up to 50lbs unassistedPhysically demanding, requiring prolonged standing, walking, lifting, and working in various conditions. Adhering to safety protocols and procedures is crucial for preventing accidents and injuries.
