High SchoolResponsibilitiesThe Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, repair, and proactive maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipment. The primary goal is to minimize downtime and ensure the facility operates at peak efficiency. This role requires a blend of mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities Preventative Maintenance:
Perform scheduled inspections and maintenance (PMs) on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and production machinery.Mechanical Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and repair issues involving hydraulics, pneumatics, drive systems, and heavy mechanical components.Electrical Repair:
Troubleshoot electrical systems (up to 480V), including sensors, relays, and motor startersDocumentation:
Maintain accurate logs of repairs, parts usage, and work orders using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).Safety:
Adhere to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Preferred Skills & Certifications Experience with welding (MIG/TIG) and fabrication. Certification in forklift or aerial lift operation. PLC programming or troubleshooting knowledge. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
