Job Description

Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented 3rd Shift Supervisor to lead our overnight operations in a dynamic plastic injection molding facility. This pivotal role involves managing staff, ensuring safety standards, and maintaining smooth shift operations. As a key leader during the late-night hours, you will motivate your team, uphold exceptional customer service, and ensure operational excellence throughout your shift. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate production activities for operations during the shift. Lead, coach, and motivate team members to meet production, quality, and safety objectives. Ensure safe work practices and compliance with MSI safety policies and regulatory requirements. Monitor machine performance and production output, escalate issues as needed. Coordinate staffing to minimize down time. Enforce quality standards, perform audits, and ensure compliance with work instructions and SOPs. Communicate shift performance, issues, and priorities during shift handoffs, production meetings, and shift end reports. Maintain accurate production, scrap, and down time records. Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives. Coach and evaluate employee performance, support onboarding, and cross-training. Identify team member's skills, experience, and ambitions to grow within the organization. Other tasks as assigned. Skills and Experience Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to reach and follow work instructions and production schedules. Basic computer skills. High school diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
