Behavior Technician (Part-Time & Reserve Opportunities Available) Pathways to Potential - Lapeer County, MI Make a meaningful impact. Build a career with purpose. Pathways to Potential is seeking compassionate, motivated individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians . This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for those looking to start a rewarding career in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)— no prior certification required, training provided . In this role, you will work one-on-one with children and young adults with autism in their homes, delivering individualized therapy under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). You'll play a critical role in helping clients build communication, social, academic, and daily living skills that promote independence and long-term success. We are currently hiring part-time Behavior Technicians as well as Reserve Behavior Technicians with flexible availability who are ready to step in as new client needs arise. What You'll Do Implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by a BCBA Teach and reinforce communication, social, and daily living skills Support the reduction of challenging behaviors through evidence-based strategies Collect and record session data using the HiRasmus app Communicate regularly with your supervising BCBA regarding client progress Maintain consistency and reliability with assigned schedules Commit to a minimum of 6 months with each assigned client What We're Looking For You'll thrive in this role if you are: Energetic, patient, and compassionate Passionate about working with children and making a difference Able to remain calm and focused in dynamic or challenging situations Organized and capable of multitasking while delivering instruction Reliable and committed to following structured treatment plans Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Reliable transportation Availability for: Monday-Friday (3:30 PM - 7:00 PM) Ability to pass a criminal background check Physical ability to engage in active sessions (e.g., running, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs) Preferred Qualifications Experience working with children or individuals with autism RBT certification (or willingness to obtain through our training program) PCM, CPI, or Safety Care training Compensation $20.00 - $25.00 per hour , based on experience If you're looking for a role where your work truly matters and where you can grow professionally, we encourage you to apply today.
