AC Service Technician

The right candidate will be trained for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and servicing residential HVAC systems while delivering a great customer experience in the field. This position is ideal for a individual who enjoys troubleshooting, communicates well with homeowners, and wants to grow with a company that is building for the future. Once trained, responsibilities will be: Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and air conditioning systems Perform system inspections, service calls, tune-ups, and preventative maintenance Troubleshoot electrical, airflow, refrigerant, and mechanical issues Explain findings and repair recommendations clearly to customers Complete service tickets, notes, and documentation accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work vehicle Follow company procedures and safety standards at all times Communicate with office staff and management regarding job progress, parts, and customer needs Identify additional repair or replacement opportunities when appropriate Represent Beacon professionally in the field Qualifications Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Communication and customer service skills Ability to lift equipment, work in attics/crawlspaces, and handle Florida heat Professional appearance and positive attitude Previous HVAC service and repair experience is helpful but not required EPA certification - or we will help you get it What We're Looking For Reliable and honest Friendly and respectful with customers Motivated and team-oriented Detail-focused and solution-driven Proud of doing the job the right way Pay & Benefits Full-time, steady work Company vehicle Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive team environment Paid training and continuing ed Schedule Full-time Monday to Friday Overtime as required On-call rotation may apply Applicants that apply in person receive higher consideration.
