  • 4:30 PM Industry administrative & support services (Office and Administrative Support Occupations) Reference number S_175634 Spherion Vermont is seeking an Account Coordinator, who will have the opportunity to work within our client's Operations department designed to bridge the gap between high-level relationship management and meticulous administrative execution.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this position is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of insurance and financial business-from initial application submission to final closing. By acting as a dedicated advocate for high-performing agents and a precise coordinator for new business, the Account Coordinator ensures operational excellence, agent retention, and the successful "push to close" of all pending cases.
Responsibilities:
  • Relationship Management:
    Serve as the primary advocate for high-performing agents, maintaining long-lasting relationships through scheduled outreach and proactive "thank you" initiatives to maximize satisfaction.
  • Case Management & Execution:
    Manage the full "push to close" process for new business, including reviewing applications for accuracy, tracking medical/underwriting requirements, and troubleshooting compensation discrepancies. ...
  • Strategic Growth Support:
    Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities for agents while developing and tracking quarterly sales incentives and proprietary credit programs.
  • Operational Documentation:
    Maintain precise records in RedTail CRM and Docupace, documenting all communication logs, case statuses, and financial data to ensure transparency.
Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare comprehensive production reports and large-case insights for the senior management team to assist in Sim 3 management meetings and staff incentive tracking.

  • CRM Proficiency:
    Advanced experience navigating and maintaining data integrity within RedTail CRM and the NLG/Docupace portals.
  • Incentive Management:
    Experience in designing, tracking, and promoting sales competitions and agent proprietary credits for incentive trips.
  • Strategic Troubleshooting:
    Ability to resolve complex agent issues regarding charge-backs, commission exceptions, and large-case bottlenecks.
  • Advanced Training Delivery:
    Comfort in conducting training sessions for agents on business processes, new product offerings, and digital paperwork requirements.
Financial Services Insight:
Deep understanding of the life insurance underwriting process, including APS (Attending Physician Statement) monitoring and medical requirements.

Associate Experience:
4-7 years

    Proven ability to review and process new business submissions accurately between agents and home offices/broker-dealers.
  • Communication Excellence:
    Strong verbal and written skills for conducting scheduled follow-up calls and providing case status updates to agents twice weekly.
  • Project Coordination:
    High level of organizational skill to manage "Large Case" tracking and ensure all business is moved to "Paid" status efficiently.
  • Administrative Accuracy:
    Exceptional attention to detail in reviewing applications for omissions, incorrect signatures, or missing regulatory information.
