Account Manager
  • Auto Dealer Floorplan Financing Mid-State Advantage | New York Mills, MN About Mid-State Advantage Since 2017, Mid-State Advantage has been the trusted floorplan financing partner for used car dealers across Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
We're not just a lender—we're invested in helping independent dealers finance their inventory, acquire trade-ins, grow their businesses, and better serve their communities. The Opportunity We're seeking an Account Manager who thrives in a dynamic role that blends relationship management, financial stewardship, and business development. This isn't a desk job—you'll be a true partner to auto dealers across the tri-state region, helping them succeed while protecting our company's interests.   • You connect authentically with people, understand their challenges, and position yourself as an indispensable partner in their business success Your Day-to-Day Administration Vehicle title management and documentation Customer compliance monitoring and reporting Contract execution and customer communications Payment Collection Proactive communication on payment deadlines Fund collection, deposits, and reconciliation Account management and follow-up Risk Mitigation Travel to customer dealerships for lot audits Transaction monitoring and analysis Customer relationship management focused on compliance New Customer Acquisition Prospect outreach and relationship building Credit solution proposals and presentations New account contract execution Recovery Management Physical asset recovery when necessary Dealer bond insurance claims Legal action coordination (when required) Travel Requirements Travel to dealer lots across Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota (typically one day per week).
All travel is structured for same-day return—you'll be home each evening.
What You Bring Required:
Minimum 3 years of experience in banking, automotive, or credit industries Proven accountability—both holding others accountable and taking personal responsibility Natural preference for detail-oriented work and flawless execution Strong written and verbal communication skills Charisma and innate ability to build genuine connections
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary:
$50,000
  • $70,000
Plus Profit Sharing:
Your earnings grow as you sell and collect—directly rewarding your performance
