Accountant Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent manufacturer in the Lee Co, MS, is seeking an Accountant to join their team! This is a climate-controlled facility offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing!

Shift:

M-F 8am-5pm Quarterly Audit Overtime once per quarter Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and general ledger entries Perform month-end and year-end close processes Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, and variances Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting activities Reconcile accounts, including inventory and work-in-process (WIP) Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls Assist with audits and provide requested documentation Partner with operations and management to improve financial processes All other duties as assigned by our customer

Accountant Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required Manufacturing accounting experience (required) Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Why Peoplelink Staffing?
