About the Opportunity A rapidly growing, privately held HVAC services company is seeking a well-rounded Accountant to partner with the Corporate Controller and support accounting operations for a $75M+ revenue business in a high-velocity, service-driven environment. The Role The Accountant will be responsible for core accounting functions and direct exposure to ownership and meaningful influence on financial accuracy, controls, and reporting as the business scales. Key Responsibilities Support accurate and timely financial reporting Perform month-end and year-end close activities Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts using QuickBooks Online Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts Review Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activity for accuracy and completeness Assist with preparation of internal financial statements and management reports Support job costing, margin analysis, and service line profitability tracking Assist with payroll accounting, benefits reconciliations, and related accruals Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (CPA or CPA-track preferred) 3+ years of accounting experience,GAAP, and operattional accounting principles Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Excel Experience in service, construction, HVAC, or project-based industries preferred Why This Role Direct impact: Work closely with senior leadership/Career Controller and play a visible role in shaping financial operations for a $75M+ business Growth exposure: Be part of a high-velocity, service-driven organization experiencing rapid and continued expansion Broader scope: Move beyond transactional accounting into job costing, process improvement, and operational support Career development: Opportunity to grow alongside the company as systems, controls, and the finance team scale
