Opens a new window. Accountant - San Gabriel, CA. Analyze, prepare, and maintain the company's financial records in accordance with accepted accounting principles. Compile and review general-ledger entries, journal entries, and financial data to produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and variance analyses. Examine and verify the accuracy of accounting records and supporting documentation. Review operating expenses, revenues, and budgets to ensure financial integrity and compliance. Assist management in evaluating financial performance and planning by providing cost and revenue analyses and forecasts. Develop and improve internal accounting procedures to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency. Coordinate with management and external accountants to support audits and prepare financial documentation required for compliance and decision-making. Requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and 12 months of work experience in an accounting or related position. Must have knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement preparation, budgeting, and internal control procedures.
