This position will provide timely and accurate financial information to management helping to meet department's operational goals and core aims.

ACCOUNTING DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

May include, but are not limited to, the following: Demonstrates strong safety culture through personal behavior and commitment to environmental, health & safety. Participates in the PACE & Safe Start culture of safety. Perform all job duties in a safe manner to prevent accident or injury. Perform detailed Accounting/Finance tasks associated with monthly plant close. Assist with the preparation of monthly production statistical reports. Assist with the preparation of monthly internal management reports, including variance analysis and commentary. Assist with the preparation of monthly forecasts. Assist with the preparation of annual line item detailed budget. Assist in a review of balance sheet accounts. Assist in the AP process as needed, including coding of miscellaneous invoices. Monitor and enforce Company's internal controls to ensure assets are safeguarded. Provide support and documentation for internal and external audits as necessary. Work with Operations to ensure transactions are recorded in a timely manner. Prepare studies, evaluations and reports as requested by local and Corporate management. QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. 1-3 years of experience in cost accounting or industrial accounting preferred. Previous SAP experience preferred. Strong computer skills, with proficiency using standard spreadsheet applications. Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.

The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as normally based in an office. Some of the work may be required in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc. May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators.
