Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of accounting principles and practices, and will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Duties Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Processing end-of-month, quarter, and year-end closings Preparing balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow reports Maintaining all transactions in the general ledger Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local tax filings Much more… Qualifications An associate or bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred. Knowledge of accounting principles. Proficient in accounts payable/receivable management and related processes. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity. Organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Candidates must have a strong understanding of GAAP and accounting theory and application.
