Job Summary Hershey Excavating , is a growing, full-service commercial excavating company located in Manheim, PA. Providing full service commercial excavating and site work services to clients in the Central PA region, Hershey Excavating is well-established and well-known for their top-quality work and lets "do it right the first time" approach. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting & Administrative Coordinator to join our organization. This pivotal role combines core accounting functions with administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes and office management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in corporate accounting principles, proficiency with various accounting software, and excellent organizational skills. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to accurate financial reporting and support administrative functions critical to our organizational success. Payroll Process and support payroll for multiple entities Maintain compliance with certified payroll reporting Communicate with payroll providers and internal team members as needed Billing & Accounts Payable Manage invoicing for multiple entities Process and track cross-company accounts payable Support intercompany billing and reconciliations Ensure timely and accurate invoice processing and documentation Cash & Transaction Management Prepare and record deposits Maintain organized records of daily financial transactions Communicate with customers on aging receivables Administrative & Office Support Manage office supply inventory and ordering Support general office operations to ensure efficiency and organization Qualifications High School diploma and 3+ years of experience in accounting, payroll, or administrative support Familiarity with payroll systems (Computer Ease or similar preferred) Basic understanding of accounts payable/receivable Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple entities and priorities simultaneously Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and standard office software Experience with Computer Ease (preferred) Key Traits for Success Highly organized and detail-oriented Proactive and able to work independently Strong problem solving skills Comfortable handling both financial and administrative responsibilities A positive attitude towards employees, customers, and visitors, with a strong commitment to teamwork. Honest and ethical with the ability to maintain discretion with financial & payroll information
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
