Hire Role Overview:
Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Accounting and Finance Administrator to support our client in the construction industry. This position plays a vital role in supporting the financial health and operational efficiency of the company. The ideal candidate will help ensure the accuracy and integrity of company finances while facilitating communication between office staff and external partners. Strong organizational and analytical skills are essential for success in this position. Apply today for immediate consideration!
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain accurate financial records, general ledger, and cash flow. Record and classify financial transactions; prepare monthly and annual reports. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Enter and process transactions, payroll, and reports using Sage accounting software; troubleshoot data issues. Handle AIA billing, G702/G703 forms, pay applications, and coordinate with project managers on billing and change orders.
Manage accounts receivable:
invoice customers, track payments, handle collections, and maintain records.
Manage accounts payable:
process vendor invoices, payments, resolve discrepancies, and maintain records. Prepare and file tax documents; support payroll and sales tax, records, and auditor coordination.
Administer company insurance and bonding:
maintain records, process COIs, manage renewals, and assist with claims and compliance. Reconcile bank statements, maintain cash balances, and prepare reconciliation reports.
Requirements:
3+ years of professional accounting or finance experience in the construction industry. Experience with AIA billing and
G702/G703
forms. Previous usage of Sage Accounting Software. Familiarity with tax documentation, payroll taxes and sales tax procedures. Experience handling insurance documentation, COIs, and renewals.
