The Accounting Associate supports daily accounting operations across accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor management, and financial reporting activities. This role offers broad exposure to accounting functions and is ideal for someone early in their accounting career seeking hands-on experience within a fast-paced business environment.Key Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable transactions, including freight, duties, leases, and utilities Accurately code invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts Maintain vendor records and resolve payment discrepancies Support accounts receivable functions, cash receipts, and chargeback processing Assist with month-end close activities Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Assist with Sales and Use Tax filings Support annual 1099 preparation and filings Participate in physical inventory counts as needed Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Marketing, and National Account teams Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assignedQualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1-2 years of accounting experience or equivalent experience Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work onsite five days per weekPreferred:

Duties Manage daily bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks to ensure accurate financial records Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking Support office management activities such as filing, data entry, and document proofreading to maintain organized records Handle front desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors, managing multi-line phone systems, and providing excellent customer support Maintain calendar schedules, coordinate appointments, and assist with calendar management for team members Provide administrative support through typing, document preparation, and email correspondence using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools Ensure proper phone etiquette when answering inquiries and directing calls to appropriate departments Requirements Proven office experience with strong clerical skills and familiarity with office management procedures Proficiency in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is highly desirable Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and manage time effectively Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clients and team members Previous experience in customer service or customer support roles, especially in medical or dental reception settings, is advantageous Attention to detail for proofreading documents, data entry accuracy, and filing systems Knowledge of multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, and front desk operations Personal assistant or medical/dental receptionist experience preferred but not required Embark on a rewarding journey where your administrative expertise fuels our success!
