Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Accounting Assistant and become a vital part of our financial operations! This energetic role offers the opportunity to support our accounting department through precise data entry, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with invoicing, and ensuring smooth office management. This paid position provides valuable experience in office management and financial support within a collaborative setting. Duties Manage data entry for invoices, payments, and expense reports using QuickBooks and other accounting software Assist with bookkeeping tasks such as reconciling accounts, maintaining ledgers, and preparing financial reports Support front desk operations including greeting visitors, answering multi-line phone systems, and managing appointment scheduling Handle clerical responsibilities like filing, proofreading documents, and organizing financial records Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries via phone or email with professionalism and courtesy Support office management activities including calendar management, supply ordering, and maintaining office organization Perform general administrative duties such as typing correspondence, managing Google Workspace documents, and supporting team members with personal assistant tasks Experience Prior office experience with a focus on clerical or administrative roles preferred Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is highly desirable Strong computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) tools. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment Previous experience in customer service or reception roles is advantageous Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively This role is ideal for someone eager to develop their accounting skills while contributing to a well-organized office environment.
