Accounting Clerk

Job description: We are looking for a detailed and responsible Accounting and Billing Clerk to perform a variety of accounting and clerical tasks. Duties of this position include entering sales orders, generating invoices for all outgoing orders while ensuring the accuracy of quantity, pricing, ship date, and customer classifications, verifying all EDI customers have been invoiced and disputing any shortages or other deductions from invoice payments. Responsibilities Create sales orders Create invoices in Quick Books accounting software Process ASNs and invoices in EDI systems including SPS Commerce and Commerce Hub Email invoices to customer contacts in a timely manner to ensure on time payments Dispute any claimed shortages Verify all invoices have been received in customer portals Monthly reporting on status of outstanding balances Skills Must have accounting experience preferably accounts receivable Must be proficient with Quick Books accounting software Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel Must be detail oriented, accurate, and exhibit a high degree of organization
